
Don Brown has announced that he is a Republican candidate
for District Attorney for District 7, which includes
Washington and Hancock Counties.
Don is originally from Pembroke, Maine. He graduated
from Washington Academy and the University of Maine
at Machias before receiving his Law Degree from Roger
Williams University School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island.
He worked in Law Enforcement for several years during which he graduated from the Maine Criminal Justice Academy. He has owned and operated a small business, worked as an accountant, in a paper mill and as a commercial fisherman. He is currently in private practice in Brewer, Maine. He is admitted to practice in State and Federal Courts.
As District Attorney, Don will commit to protecting the people of Washington and Hancock Counties by providing strong leadership that ensures tough, effective, fair prosecutions while also remaining accountable to the public and responsive to law enforcement.
Drugs have affected many families in Hancock and Washington Counties. As District Attorney, Don will implement innovative, aggressive, collaborative and effective strategies for law enforcement as well as in our schools and communities to work toward eliminating the drug epidemic.
